Steel Assembly Locking System

  • A locking system is a complex mechanical system. Therefore, the internal locking system is designed to be complex to achieve locking security.

  • In addition to high precision, the surface requirements of some lock parts are also very demanding. For example, some zinc alloy die-casting locks require pearl chrome plating on the surface to achieve perfect appearance requirements. There must be no scratches, bubbles on the surface. What’s more, after chrome plating, it must pass a 720-hour salt spray test to ensure long-term corrosion resistance. This requires very high-precision die-casting molds to achieve smooth surfaces, as well as high-quality galvanization processes to ensure long-term corrosion resistance.

  • There are also some very complicated welding and assembly lock structural parts, which is also one of the very typical products Sibai made. The material is steel plate DC01. The thickness is generally 2.5 mm. There are several specification. The outer dimensions are roughly 110X40X70.  They consist of 7 stamping steel components, 8 screws to be welded and fastened. It requires multiple processings including stamping, laser cutting, bending, galvanizing, turning, encapsulation, TIG welding, and fastening. After assembly, we must ensure that the overall tolerances of several key measurements of the assembly are accurately controlled.
